Holiday Hours for Building & Competition Pool
December 10-January 8

Recreation pool will be closed until late January/early February

AQUATICS

Spring Swim Lessons
Mark your calendars! Sign-up for group swim lessons will begin on Monday, January 9. You may sign up for private and semi-private lessons at any time, and unused lessons from the Fall will roll over to the Spring....more
 


Recreation Pool
The Recreation Pool will be closed throughout December and January. We will reopen late January/early February depending on weather.
 



DANCE

Kids Jazz/ Hip Hop Spring Classes
Begins January 28
Save the date for Kids Jazz/Hip Hop Spring Classes beginning January 28! For ages 8-11, this class aims to expose young dancers to a variety of styles, skills, and approaches to dance. Students will perform in an in-studio showing on the final day of class.Register Now!

R.O.P.E. (Rice Outdoor Programs & Education)

R.O.P.E. Winter Break Trip: Backpacking
December 17–22
Sometimes considered three parks in one, Big Bend includes mountain, desert, and river environments. An hour's drive can take you from the banks of the Rio Grande (with Mexico right on the other side!) to a mountain basin nearly a mile high. You will experience unmatched sights, sounds, and solitude. $300-$350* (Based on Recreation Center membership status)

R.O.P.E. Winter Break Trip: Skiing/Snowboarding
January 2–9
Ski Apache in Ruidoso, NM offers everything from multiple bunny slopes to terrain parks so there is sure to be a run for you. This trip includes 3 days skiing or snowboarding (rentals and lessons available), 4 nights in a cozy cabin, and a tour through the famous UFO Museum in Roswell, NM and Carlsbad Caverns National Park. $525-$650* (Based on Recreation Center membership status and equipment rental packages)
